What are the issues to consider?

They are Women's power to choose, the "benefits" of dating a younger man, what the rest of the world has to say, and whether you feel good enough to date a younger man. We also need to consider, Younger Men - is it infatuation or are they seriously looking for love?

Here are five questions that will help you on the road to know whether dating a younger man could be for you???

1. Would you enjoy the attention, if you had a young man on your arm? Would your desirability rating go up?
2. Do you consider the term, "Cougar" or "Milf" offensive (Cougar is known as the predatory woman who's primary interest is in bedding younger men or Milf, known as Mother i'd like to um..er freak!)?
3. Do you have your act together? Are you confident and empowered? (the expectation being that ladies of a certain age have their act together)
4. Are you just looking for fun? Looking for a fling? Or are you a late bloomer, who wants to enjoy life after years of waiting on others?
5. The cons - consider the insecurities that may arise:

• Will he like my body?
• Will he stay?
• How will I deal with others eg. jealousy, negativity or judgement?
• How will handle other attractive younger women?

The Celebrities are setting the trend for "Women Who Love Younger Men" in their growing numbers...They are being represented in our culture everywhere in film, music and fashion.

Joan Collins is well known for her marriages to younger men. Even Mariah Carey is in on the act.

Susan Sarandon has been married to her younger man for years (actor Tim Robbins).

39 year old actress Jennifer Aniston is now single but was seeing musician John Mayer (eight years her junior). She recently bared all on the cover of American GQ, the headline said "Is it us or is she just getting hotter!"...

Madonna was obviously married to younger man Guy Ritchie for seven years but me thinks we will hear more of the material girls passion for younger men in time to come.

British Sense and Sensibility Actress, Emma Thompson (49) is married to her 42 year old husband.

Even women in their 20's are in on the trend, American Pop singer Nicole Scherzinger (Pussy Cat Dolls) is dating the now world famous Lewis Hamilton, formula one champion (seven years younger).

And finally who could not remember the ubiquitous Kim Cattrall from our favourite girl TV show of all time - SATC (Sex in the city!!!)...who was recently interviewed in Good Housekeeping Magazine...She is dating a chef more than twenty years younger..

She says, " He's wonderful. He's funny. He's gorgeous. He's sexy....Really what is my problem..Well a little thing called 23...Then you think who cares!..."

And I say good on her on keeping that younger man flag flying!!!
